Webok so here's what I've done, my hitsound directory is. steam > steamapps > common > Team Fortress 2 > tf > custom > tf2hitsounds > sound > ui. and then i have my hitsound.wav in there. although when I go into the game and I put my hitsound on default which is what I was told, nothing happens. I don't hear anything on hits or kills.
