WebThe 1935 version seems more like a ballet than a movie, and utilizes Felix Mendelssohn’s Overture and Incidental Music to A Midsummer Night’s Dream. However, the best adaptation is the one from 1999, for not only does it have better costumes, sets, and special effects, but it is also for a more modern audience, something the first two could not capture.
