WebOptiComm is a privately-owned, fixed line broadband wholesale provider. Swoop is one of limited group of service providers that can offer and connections to the OptiComm network. Where neighbourhoods are adequately serviced by OptiComm, nbn TM will not be available. OptiComm usually uses fibre (FTTP) when connecting houses to their network. WebIf you had a choice between NBN FTTP and Opticomm FTTP, NBN is definitely better. But Opticomm will generally be alright. Opticomm HFC is ass (but unless you're in some random estate in WA, it is unlikely to be Opticomm HFC). There are providers that do Opticomm, like Aussie Broadband and Launtel. Recommend either of those two.
